Here is what's going on on airbnb market in Toronto
Toronto is about to shake up its housing business after a provincial tribunal ruled in support of the city's regulations on short-term rentals such as Airbnb.
The rules are designed to increase the availability of long-term rental units by allowing only for the short-term rental of an owner's main residence or rooms within a residence, and charging additional taxes.
The rules, which had been held up for two years during an appeal by residents, echo similar policies in Mississauga and Vancouver.
Do you think it will affect investors?
Will the new rules making housing more affordable in Toronto? Please commend and share with friends
